Independent from your command

Your decision to reach out stays outside the command structure.

I do not report to your command or routinely share information with them simply because you use this service. Independent service; not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Army, Department of Defense, USAG Italy, Caserma Ederle, or Del Din.

Private by design

Share what is needed for the work — not more than necessary to get started.

You book directly, and the booking process is designed to collect only the information needed to schedule and provide the service. The booking form does not ask for detailed health records, diagnoses, or crisis information.

Outside the system. Familiar with the life.

Spend less time explaining military life and more time working on what brought you here.

I already understand PCS cycles, deployment and reintegration, command schedules, overseas assignments, spouse-career disruption, changing family roles, temporary communities, and the mix of opportunity and isolation that can come with living overseas.

You don't need to wait until everything is falling apart.

Earlier help can keep a manageable problem from becoming a much bigger one.

Stress, conflict, overload, adjustment problems, and difficult decisions can spill into relationships, family life, work, and military service when they keep building. You can start working on the problem before the consequences pile up.

Direct access. Less friction.

When you're ready to start, you can start.

Choose an available time and book directly — without first obtaining a referral or coordinating through your command.

It's okay not to be okay. Let me help you get way better than okay.

1

Understand what’s happening

I'll help you identify the patterns, pressures, reactions, circumstances, and obstacles that keep creating the problem — not just the most recent version of it.

2

Define what you want to be different

I'll help you get clear about the outcome you actually want and identify what would need to change for things to start moving in that direction.

3

Build a practical way forward

I'll help you develop specific strategies that fit your real situation — whether that means changing a routine, preparing for a conversation, setting a boundary, responding differently, organizing around a problem, or making a difficult decision.

4

Review, troubleshoot & adjust

I'll help you look at what is working, identify what is getting in the way, and adjust the approach until it is useful outside the session and in your actual life.

Who I am

I'm Nicole Harris, MSW — a social-work professional with behavioral-health experience in the Vicenza military community, more than two decades of military-family experience, and a practical approach to helping people work through complicated problems.

  • Master of Social Work, Salisbury University.
  • Professional experience in U.S. Army behavioral-health and substance-use services in Vicenza.
  • Current American Red Cross behavioral-health volunteer in the Vicenza military community.
  • Previous military-community, family-support, and transition programming with USO Naples.
  • Former senior operations leader with experience in problem-solving, crisis response, systems, teams, and organizational change.
  • More than 20 years of military-family life, including deployments, transitions, reintegration, changing family roles, and rebuilding around what life actually requires.

I understand that the problem you bring in may be emotional, practical, relational, professional, or all of those things at once.

THIS MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF…

  • You are functioning, but something keeps getting in the way.
  • You want help with stress, relationships, routines, communication, adjustment, focus, decisions, or change.
  • You want an outside perspective from someone who understands military life.
  • You are willing to look at patterns honestly and try practical changes.
  • You want help before the situation necessarily becomes a crisis.

THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT SERVICE IF…

  • You need emergency or crisis intervention.
  • You need psychiatric or medical treatment.
  • You need a formal diagnosis, psychological evaluation, disability assessment, or forensic opinion.
  • You are seeking specialized addiction treatment or another service outside Nicole’s professional or legal scope.

Scope & boundaries

Practical support for change — with clear boundaries.

This service focuses on personal development, practical problem-solving, skill building, behavior change, decision-making, relationships and communication, and navigating life circumstances. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment of a mental-health condition.

If what you need falls outside this scope, I will be direct about that. The goal is not to keep every person who reaches out. The goal is to make sure the service is appropriate for what you are actually asking for.
